I want to get my MBA, should my UG Degree be in accounting or finance. This is for max compensation.?

I am currently a Assistant VP of a sales company, but want to translate my management experience into a executive job. Should I get my bachelors in finance or accounting if I plan on also getting my MBA? I would like to be and analyst or controller. My ultimate goal is to end up in a CFO (or possibly a CEO) seat one day.

1. I would go with finance, personally. Accounting focuses alot on taxation and things like that, whereas a finance degree would give you background into managing money within a company and things like that. Finance is where you want to go if you want to continue in business and become a CFO. I would only recommend an accounting degree if you wanted to be a CPA. Good luck!
