What are some changes that occurred in the Americas after Columbus' discovery?

I need five examples: social, political, environmental, economic, and any other changes that occurred. I already have social, economic and environmental but if you can help with the political changes and any other ones, that would be very helpful!

  1. The political changes would be that whatever 'political' system the natives had was wiped out and replaced with the Spanish type of Government. The natives had to become Christians and put on clothes and cut their hair, etc. They became the people at the bottom of the totem pole in their own country. Then you have the introduction of guns, horses, and disease. I'm betting every aspect of the natives' lives was changed.
  2. how about Indians didnt have politics at all. the Americas changed unrecognizable after the Europeans came, it was just a bunch of trees and crazy Indians, and then it was just a bunch of trees and crazy Americans, haha no seriously tho it should be very easy for you when you just think of the before and after. you should look into puritanism because that was popular in America in the 1600's. no separation of church and state, no individual freedoms.
