What are some changes a vegetarian woman would notice in her menstrual cycle?

It will be almost 2 years that I am a vegetarian. I know that the lack of meat in my diet probably has an effect in my blood, which probably means there will be a change in my menstrual cycle. I've seen some changes, but I rather not describe them on here. But if other vegetarian women out there are willing to share the changes that they've noticed, I'd really like to know and be able to compare.

  1. Meat RULz....It'll straighten you out...
  2. I have been a vegetarian on-and-off most of my life and I haven't noticed any differences.Ha, that probably didn't help you much...
  3. Mine goes from being really super light a few months in a row (like to the point where I took a few pregnancy tests, because I was confused), to being really dark, and heavy and clumpy. It's rarely in the middle. Super light or super dark.
  4. I have a vegetarian but nothing any problem for me,I think change your attitude of this topic then nothing any problem will creat. Back-up meet is many more meals in vegetarian if you choose this then nothing any problem will occur.
  5. I've been a vegetarian for over 10 years and there is no difference to your menstual cycle if you decide to live a life without cruelty and meat! We don't need meat in our diet, so it also doesn't have an effect on your menstrual cycle. If you realized about differences, these certainly didn't occur because of you not eating meat. You should pay attention to what you eat now that you are a vegetarian to get all the things your body needs. Good luck with this and you just made a great decision becoming a vegetarian! :-)
