What changes are Fairfax County making regarding school for the 09-10 year?

I've heard rumors that Fairfax county is planning to some changes to the 2009-2010 school. I've heard that they are planning on starting schools 1 hour later, and that they are planning on adjusting the grading scale. I would like to know if these rumors are true, and if there are any more. Thanks a lot.

2. I have also heard this. The grade scale change is almost official although I doubt they will open later next year, its a big possibility, its going to save the county lots of money, but there are also some bad sides to later school such as practice for different sports will be too early or late.
